Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a cozy Bavarian style with a lovely view of Lake Como. The rooms were nice, clean, but on the smaller side. The service was exceptional and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect for evening strolls and dining at nearby restaurants.
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The rooms are incredibly comfortable, although the beds are quite firm, so be prepared. The room was spacious and retained its charming timber paneling, but I do wish there was a complimentary tea/coffee setup for those early mornings. The bathroom was well-equipped and fairly large, meeting all my basic needs.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were good-sized and charming with old timber paneling, but the continuous sound of church bells every 15 minutes was a bit disruptive. The cleanliness was impeccable, yet the rooms felt cramped with poor lighting and a window too high to enjoy outside views, giving off a Harry Potter Room vibe.
